Metalová ikona IRON MAIDEN vydá koncert Maiden England na 2DVD, 2CD a 2LP. Legendární záznam z roku 1988 vyjde na digitálním nosiči vůbec poprvé, v obchodech se objeví 25.3.2013…

Skupina Iron Maiden patří k nejpopulárnějším reprezentantům britské rockové hudby. V nedávné anketě pořádané u příležitosti královnina diamantového výročí bylo jejich album The Number Of The Beast zvoleno nejlepší britskou deskou posledních šedesáti let. Také v našich končinách se sláva kapely „hvězd dotýká“. Opakovaně vyprodávají stadióny, s každým vydavatelským počinem útočí na nejvyšší příčky prodejního žebříčku. S nadšením metaloví příznivci jistě přivítají také zprávu o novém vydání Maiden England.

Nahrávka byla pořízena během světového turné k desce Seventh Son Of A Seventh Son na dvou vyprodaných koncertech v Birminghamu v roce 1988. První disk bude obsahovat záznam, který byl peč-livě zrestaurován a upraven z originálních VHS pásků. Dojde též na tři dosud nevydané přídavky – Running Free, Run To The Hills a Sanctuary. Celková délka koncertu tak dosáhne 110 minut. Filmový producent a dvorní režisér skupiny Andy Matthews ošetřil a digitálně upravil každé filmové okno pás-ky, aby záběrům dodal co nejkvalitnější vzhled. Rovněž zvuk se dočkal nového mixu, do pětikanálu ho rozmíchal zvukový mistr kapely z posledních let Kevin Shirley.

Druhé DVD nabídne exkluzivní dokument mapující tzv. třetí etapu historie Iron Maiden. Disk obsahuje 40-timinutové interview s členy kapely i jejím manažerem Rodem Smallwoodem o tom, jak se potýkali s následky turné 84/85 World Slavery Tour a jak prožívali turbulentní dobu, jež vedla k natočení alb Somewhere In Time a Seventh Son Of A Seventh Son.
