Několikanásobný držitel ceny Grammy a žijící bluesová legenda Buddy Guy oznámil, že 15. června 2018 vydá své nové studiové album The Blues Is Alive And Well. Na albu se jako speciální hosté objeví ve skladbě “You Did The Crime” Mick Jager, ve skladbě “Cognac” vokálně přispějí Keith Richards a Jeff Beck a konečně James Bay si zazpívá s Buddy Guyem v písni “Blue No More.” Producentem alba se stal držitel ceny Grammy a dlouholetý Guyův spolupracovník Tom Hambridge.
